Contraband Arrest at Rogers State Prison

As of July 2010, The GDC Office of Professional Standards, in conjunction with local & federal law enforcement partners, have investigated or arrested approximately 999 staff and civilians for introducing contraband into prisons throughout the state.

Contraband Arrest at Rogers State Prison

On October 31, at Rogers State Prison, a Tattnall County Sheriff Deputy conducted a traffic stop in front of Georgia State Prison.  The officer noticed contraband sitting on the back-passenger floorboard consisting of 223 small bundles of tobacco wrapped in black electrical tape, less than one ounce of marijuana, a 10-inch knife and a rifle.  Civilians Brandon Perry and Lamarcus Mobley were arrested and transported to the Tattnall County Jail.
