Contraband Arrests at GDC Facilities

1) On Saturday, September 17, 2011, Officer KeUndre Brown was arrested by the Dooly County Sheriff's Department at Dooly State Prison in Unadilla. A search of his vehicle uncovered tobacco, cigars, rolling paper, a marijuana seed and a marijuana cigarette. There were also other items to suggest these products were being given to inmates.

2) On Sunday, September 18, 2011, Keisha Woodson was arrested by the Tattnall County Sheriff's Office at Rogers State Prison in Reidsville. She was at the facility with her children when it was discovered she dropped off 18 bags of tobacco, 20 packs of rolling paper, two cell phones and a cell phone charger.

The Department of Corrections is committed to identifying and pursuing prosecution of those persons who attempt to introduce contraband into state facilities.
