Johnson SP Hosts F&CB Graduation and Family Day

15 offenders graduate, over 100 family members attend

FORSYTH, Ga. – On July 21, Johnson State Prison (SP) hosted a graduation ceremony and Family Day for the Faith and Character Based (F&CB) Dorm. There were 15 graduates and over 100 family members who participated.

“We are proud of the men who completed this 12-month long Faith and Character Based Program,” said Commissioner Gregory C. Dozier. “This is joyous occasion that strengthens family bonds and keeps offenders motivated for change.”

The F&CB Program is a secular program that focuses on personal and spiritual growth and development. The curriculum is divided into four phases: Foundation, Discovery, Transformation, and Transition. For more on the F&CB program: http://bit.ly/2kAxSF5.

Family Day is an event that allows offenders in the F&CB program to spend quality time with their family, while also showing them what they are learning and how they are growing as individuals.
